There are a few threads at Guru3D forums discussing an ATI "hotfix" driver with a version number of 10.7: it has been revealed however that this is a modified driver package made from code compiled in June (the date of the 10.6 release.)

The Motorola 6200 no longer powers my HD cable signal, replaced instead with the Shaw Pace 758D set top box. The guide program is the same as it always was, and with the additional HDMI inputs on the Sony 46" KDL HDTV, connection is easy.

I recently had a chance to test the latest ATI Catalyst drivers on my test system. As a general rule, we are always told to use the latest driver available. Each new release from ATI/AMD is WHQL certified, so chances are pretty low that you will do any damage to your system by upgrading. The problem is that it's hard to pinpoint exactly how much better each new release actually is, and so we benchmark. I cover the Catalyst 10.4, 10.5 and 10.6 releases today.
